If a buyer has lots of Hermes Birkins they will be fakes, Birkins are very rare.
Hermes uses only the finest quality leather so take a very good look at the leather, if it looks cheap then it isn't authentic.
Hermes bags are never sold with a paper hangtag.
A genuine Hermes Kelly or Birkin comes with an engraved lock and key set. The lock has "Hermes" on the bottom and the keys have a number which matches the lock number. It also has Hermes on the reverse.
