Guccio Gucci (1881 – 1953) the son of an Italian merchant, started the House of Gucci in Florence in 1906 as a small, family-owned saddlery shop. There are two main websites guccigroup.com and gucci.com and they are both considerably better than Louis Vuitton’s website, even though they still tend to be rather slow due to the excessive graphics! At gucci.com you can shop online for a wide range of products. They even have a form where you can ‘consult a personal shopper’ although I didn’t try it to see how fast the consultation was.
You can also rotate the bags displayed through 360° so you can see them from all angles! But not inside unfortunately.
